Salesforce Certified Agentforce Field Service and Operations Consultant
The Salesforce Certified Agentforce Field Service and Operations Consultant exam (FS-Con-101) is an intermediate credential for consultants who design and implement on-site field operations with Salesforce Field Service. It was renamed from Salesforce Certified Field Service Consultant on July 24, 2026, with no change to the exam code or the exam content. The weightings are clearly skewed: Managing Scheduling and Optimization is 28% and Managing Work Orders 23%, while Managing Assets, Configuring Maintenance Plans and Permissions and Sharing are 5% each. Registration requires two credentials, Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator and Salesforce Certified Agentforce Service Consultant, the heaviest entry requirement among the certifications covered here. The exam is 60 multiple-choice and multiple-select questions in 105 minutes with a passing score of 63%, and questions are based on the Spring '23 product release. Custom code such as Apex is explicitly out of scope.
Official pageWho takes it
- Consultants implementing Salesforce Field Service in industries with on-site work such as equipment maintenance, inspection and repair
- Field service operations managers who design service resource assignment and schedule optimisation
- Service Cloud administrators running case management who want to extend their remit to on-site work
- Staff designing mobile solutions for field workers who use the Field Service mobile app
- People who already hold the Salesforce Certified Agentforce Service Consultant credential and are looking for their next specialist area
What it lets you do
- It gives a structured way to check the object model specific to Field Service: work orders, service appointments, service territories, inventory, assets and maintenance plans
- Points where configuration decisions diverge, such as scheduling policies, the dispatcher console and the types of optimization service, are set out explicitly in the exam outline
- The two prerequisites, Platform Administrator and Agentforce Service Consultant, mean that holding this credential demonstrates implementation ability across the administration, service and field domains together
- The official exam guide explicitly lists what is not expected of candidates, including custom code such as Apex and Lightning Web Components and third-party integration, which lets you narrow your study to configuration and operations
- It is the Salesforce certification for the field service domain that can be taken in Japanese

How hard it is
The passing score is 63%. The pass rate is not published by the exam body (Salesforce does not release pass rates for its certification exams). Registration requires two prerequisite credentials, Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator and Salesforce Certified Agentforce Service Consultant, which makes the entry requirement the heaviest of the five certifications covered here. The official exam guide describes the expected candidate as having one to two years of experience as a business analyst, at least one year of experience in the field service industry, and at least two years of experience in service and support. Trailhead Academy lists the level as Intermediate.
How long people study
Not published by the exam body. Salesforce does not publish an expected number of study hours. What the official exam guide gives instead is a guideline for practical experience rather than study time: one to two years as a business analyst, at least one year in the field service industry, and at least two years in service and support.

Questions people ask
- I knew this as "Field Service Consultant". Has it changed?
- It has. The list of name changes in the official Certification Name Changes FAQ records the change from Salesforce Certified Field Service Consultant to Salesforce Certified Agentforce Field Service and Operations Consultant on July 24, 2026. The exam code FS-Con-101 and the exam content are unchanged.
- I heard there are two prerequisites. Is that right?
- It is. The exam details section of the official exam guide states the prerequisite as holding both the Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator credential and the Salesforce Certified Agentforce Service Consultant credential. That means passing three exams in sequence, so plan your schedule backwards from this one.
- Where should I concentrate my study?
- The weightings are clearly skewed. Managing Scheduling and Optimization at 28% and Managing Work Orders at 23% together account for more than half the exam, while Managing Assets, Configuring Maintenance Plans and Permissions and Sharing are 5% each. The sensible priority is scheduling policies and optimization service configuration, and the relationships between work orders, work order line items and service appointments.
- Do I need to know Apex or custom development?
- The official exam guide lists what a candidate is not expected to know or do: integration with third-party systems, custom code such as Apex and Lightning Web Components, fleet optimization, and mobile deployment via MDM. You can concentrate on configuration and operational design.
- I heard the release the exam is based on is old.
- The official exam guide states that questions are based on the Spring '23 product release. Rather than the newest features, the priority is knowing the configuration and object model exactly as they stood at Spring '23.
