Salesforce Certified Revenue Management Consultant

This consultant-level exam covers Salesforce Revenue Cloud, which the official exam guide refers to as Agentforce Revenue Management. It asks whether you can design and implement the product-to-cash process end to end: product catalog, pricing, quoting, contracts, orders, assets, and invoicing. There are 60 questions and a 105-minute limit, the passing score is 63%, and there are no prerequisite certifications. The official exam guide describes the target candidate as having two to three years of experience in the product-to-cash space. Questions are less about recalling feature names than about judgment: translating business requirements into standard functionality, explaining the trade-offs behind a technical choice, and defining scope and an implementation plan. The published objectives also reach into Context Service, Omnistudio, Business Rules Engine, and APIs, so the line between configuring standard features and building something custom is part of what is tested. Section weightings are published, which makes it possible to budget study time: Configure, Price, Quote and Agentforce Revenue Management Platform Concepts carry 18% each, while Invoice Management carries 7%. Salesforce has also named this exam as the official migration path for the two CPQ credentials that retire in February 2027.

Official page

Who takes it

  • Consultants at partner firms who implement quoting, contracting, and billing
  • In-house IT staff responsible for overhauling product-to-cash processes
  • Holders of CPQ Administrator or CPQ and Billing Consultant looking for a migration path after the February 2027 retirement
  • People with Sales Cloud implementation experience who want to extend downstream into quote-to-invoice

What it lets you do

  • Demonstrates publicly that you can design the whole product-to-cash chain — catalog, pricing, quoting, contracts, orders, assets, invoicing — within standard functionality
  • Salesforce names it as the migration path for the two CPQ credentials, so CPQ experience can be carried over into a credential that exists in the current catalog
  • The objectives include Context Service, Omnistudio, Business Rules Engine, and APIs, which forces you to organize the criteria for choosing standard configuration over custom development
  • Weightings are published, so study time can be allocated between the lighter areas (Invoice Management 7%, Contracts and Orders 11%) and the heavier ones

How hard it is

The pass rate is not published by the exam body. The official exam guide states a passing score of 63%, which is typical for Salesforce consultant-level exams. That said, the target candidate is described as having two to three years of experience in the product-to-cash space, and most questions present a scenario and ask you to pick the right design decision.

How long people study

Not published by the exam body. Salesforce publishes only recommended experience (two to three years in the product-to-cash space) and gives no figure for study hours.

Questions people ask

Are "Revenue Cloud Consultant" and "Revenue Management Consultant" two different exams?
They are the same exam. The Trailhead credential page is titled "Salesforce Certified Revenue Management Consultant", and the old URL /credentials/revenuecloudconsultant redirects to the current credential page. The body of the official exam guide, however, reads "Salesforce Certified Agentforce Revenue Management Consultant", so the naming is still in transition.
I hold a CPQ credential. Do I need to take this exam?
The official 2027 Certification Retirements FAQ names this exam as the migration path for Salesforce Certified CPQ Administrator and the CPQ and Billing Consultant Accredited Professional. Credentials you already hold remain on your Trailblazer profile marked as retired after the February 1, 2027 retirement and are not invalidated. Whether to migrate is a decision driven by what your role requires.
How many correct answers does the 63% passing score work out to?
Salesforce publishes only the 63% figure and does not disclose the equivalent number of correct answers. Up to 5 unscored questions are mixed into the exam, and they do not affect your result.
Are there any prerequisites?
There are no prerequisite certifications. The official exam guide recommends — but does not require — Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator, Agentforce Sales Consultant, and Platform App Builder.
Which release is the exam aligned to?
The official exam guide states that it is aligned to the Summer '25 release (as of September 2026).
